From North Side (including New York City & Pocono’s) of New Jersey:google map

  1. Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 89 (Rt. 70).
  2. Make right onto Route 70 (Westbound).
  3. Stay on Rt. 70 west for about 8 miles to Rt. 571.
  4. Make right onto Rt. 571, heading in a north-west direction.
  5. At the second light which intersects Rt. 547, (a new light has recently been added between Rt. 571 and this intersection)           on Rt. 571, stay on Rt. 571 and clock about 2 miles from light. *NOTE this recent adjustment to these directions.
  6. Make a right turn onto Lakehurst Avenue, which is about 100 yards past the entrance to Clayton Concrete.
  7. Clock 1.2 miles on the odometer to find a non-identified road on the right side. The nearest house number across the street is # 916.  Another semi-good “landmark” reference point is an old, now painted white, ship-anchor located across the street from the entrance road.  You can tell that you are on the correct road if you see a large access gate from Lakehurst avenue.
  8. From West (Philadelphia, PA) & South-West (Delaware Memorial Bridge) side of New Jersey:
  9. Find your way to Rt. 70 east-bound (Take Rt, 295 north if coming from Delaware Memorial Bridge)
  10. Stay on Rt. 70 east-bound for a while. You will need to drive through several circles before entering Lakehurst area.
  11. Make a left onto Rt. 547 north-bound (intersection has Diner, gas station, and McDonalds).
  12. Left onto Rt. 547 (stay left on main road when approaching fork in road).
  13. Drive past the Lakehurst Naval Base.
  14. Make a left turn at this light on to Rt. 571, heading in a North-West direction .
  15. Stay on Rt. 571 for about 2 miles.
  16. Make a right turn onto Lakehurst Avenue, which is about 100 yards past the entrance to Clayton Concrete.
  17. Clock 1.2 miles on the odometer to find a non-identified road on the right side. The nearest house number across the street is # 916.  Another semi-good “landmark” reference point is an old, now painted white, ship-anchor located across the street from the entrance road.    You can tell that you are on the correct road if you see a large access gate from Lakehurst Avenue.

From West (Philadelphia, PA) & south-west (Delaware Memorial Bridge) side of New Jersey:

  1. Find your way to Rt. 70 east-bound (Take Rt. 295 north if coming from Delaware Memorial Bridge)
  2. Stay on Rt. 70 east-bound for a while.  You will need to drive through several circles before entering Lakehurst area.
  3. Make a left onto Rt. 547 north-bound (intersection has Diner, gas station, and McDonalds)
  4. Left onto Rt. 547 (stay left on main road when approaching fork in road)
  5. Drive past the Lakehurst Naval Base.
  6. Make a left turn at this light on to Rt. 571,  heading in a north-west direction .
  7. Stay on Rt. 571 for about 2 miles.

 Alternate Route from West New Jersey (Trenton, NJ area)

  1.  From Rt. 195, take Exit 16 North.
  2. Make a right on Rt. 571 (should be second light, the one that immediately follows the Outlet Shopping Plaza entrance), heading South-East.
  3. Stay on Rt. 571 heading in a South-East direction towards Lakehurst.
  4. After the first light, look for Lakehurst Avenue on the left side.  Lakehurst Avenue essentially  starts and ends on Rt. 571 by looping on the North (left) side of Rt. 571, so if you miss the first entrance, you can still find the second one, marked by Clayton Concrete about 100 yards past Lakehurst Avenue.
  • From the North-Western-most entrance of Lakehurst Avenue (the first one), look for the house number approaching #916.  As you get within site of #916, you  should see an unmarked road on the left side. Another semi-good “landmark” reference point is an extremely rusted ship-anchor (so rusted that it easily blends in with the surrounding background) located across the street from the entrance road.
  • From the South-Eastern-most entrance of Lakehurst Avenue (the second one ),  clock 1.2 miles on the odometer to find a non-identified road on the right side.  The nearest house number across the street is # 916.  Another semi-good “landmark” reference point is an old, now painted white, ship-anchor located across the street from the entrance road.    You can tell that you are on the correct road if you see a large access gate from Lakehurst Avenue.

From South-East side (Atlantic City) of New Jersey:

  1. Take Garden State Parkway north to exit 82 west-bound (Rt. 37 west)
  2. Stay on Rt. 37 West until it meets with Rt. 70 at the circle.
  3. Take Rt. 70 West.
  4. Make right onto Rt. 547 North-bound (just past first circle; intersection has Diner, Gas Station, and McDonalds, stay left on main road when approaching fork in road).
  5. Drive past the Lakehurst Naval Base.
  6. Make a left turn at this light on to Rt. 571,  heading in a North-West direction .
  7. Stay on Rt. 571 for about 2 miles.
  8. Make a right turn onto Lakehurst Avenue, which is about 100 yards past the entrance to Clayton Concrete.

Alternate directions from South-East side (Atlantic City) of New Jersey:

  1. Take Garden State Parkway north to Exit 83 Rt. 9 North-bound (the last exit before the Toms River Tolls).
  2. After going under the Garden State Parkway, make a left turn at the first traffic light, which is Rt. 571
  3. Stay on Rt. 571 for several miles.
  4. On or about the 7th traffic light, the road you are on should intersect Rt. 547 – stay on Rt. 571 North-West bound..
  5. At the light which intersects Rt. 547, on Rt. 571, stay on Rt. 571 and clock about 2 miles from light.
  6. Make a right turn onto Lakehurst Avenue, which is about 100 yards past the entrance to Clayton Concrete.
  7. Clock 1.2 miles on the odometer to find a non-identified road on the right side.
